What is contemporary? is a series of conferences and workshops in collaboration with Centro Porsche and Porsche Padova Italy, Amedeo Modigliani Institute, University of Padua, IUAV University of Venice, Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa, Fondazione Claudio Buziol 'Istiuto European Design in Venice. In its third year, is born from a desire to understand the contemporary groped and then trying to spread it. That’s why march foundation proposes a new round of meetings which deal with the theme of contemporary art, that is analyzed at 360-degree, calling in the role of speakers and curatorial figure of Italian and international art scene or inviting artists mid - career, accredited by the art system, both writers, and entrepreneurs who work through the language of contemporary art, which tells the scientists and their methods of operation. With this new edition march foundation wants to move from the "normal" art places to go and discover it through companies that increasingly relate to innovation in the arts. March foundation with this project is proposed as a driving force of ideas and energy that can go elsewhere and become another. Hoping to educate our intellect beyond the mental models already acquired, the traditional training fees and visions in advance. This round of proposals deliberately expressed in various forms: meetings, roundtables, workshops and conferences. As in previous two editions, every day will follow the personality of therelator, who will choose the words that it deems most appropriate in order to stimulate the attention and participation of the public. The interventions of the authors will be published in collaboration with the publishing house CLEUP, in Italian and English and will be the third volume of the series "What is contemporary?". The publication is not intended as a mere transcript of the meetings, but proposes both as documentation and as a development of different types of approaches to the contemporary.
